Cyborg
All my life I have been torn between the collective doing (remember the Borg 7 of 9 from Star Trek?) and what my individual self thinks, wants and how I behave and act. It’s a constant struggle… Because I have trained myself to follow whatever the collective recommends as best possible action I often instinctively align with what makes the most sense from that perspective. But that is usually not me. I have my own mind, my own way of doing things. My own way of taking steps and walking my very own path that is very different from other’s expectations. For the first time in over 30 years I have dared to be more bold and go the path I have chosen, even if others can’t follow or understand why. My heart, soul, mind and intuition guide me through these rough waters and I try to be brave in the face of skepticism and doubt of others.
